WOW, two blogs in two days!

I am breaking tradition. I am writing a post only one day since my last one, but so much has happened in my life since then. Current events: First off, I did remember the mystery chocolate I ate last week, it was a packet of peanut M&Ms. I couldn't remember because I was thinking chocolate bar...go figure. I also figured out how to change the links to the right...I added a few that are currently near and dear to my heart at the moment. I like Ebay, mainly because of the cool commercials (haven't seen one in a bit, though), and Makeup Alley (or MUA), because it is kinda cool, I like it. A bunch of us silly women who spend way too much time and effort on their makeup. He he he. It also has these really nice product reviews, which must be taken with a grain of salt. Oh yes, and the best part is that they have this swap feature. So you have this make-up that you had to have, and you bought it and wore it like, twice. You can list it, and if someone else likes it, you can swap and get their gently-used product. They also have a bunch of new products as well, but these are a bit more dear. You aren't meant to purchase anything, it should be a swap. I have gotten to try some really neat things this way that I otherwise never would have. Ewww, used make-up, you say? Well, it is used, but usually not very much. I only had one where I got it and there was a noticeable dip in the product, and obviously I would never trade for mascara, tube lip gloss, eyeliner, etc. It usually is perfume, eyeshadow, lipstick, blush. etc etc etc. Oops paint: We just bought this house. The people who lived there before we very nice, but they had , like, no imagination. Or decorating know-how. So we have pretty much had to re-paint every single room. This is a big job, however and we haven't quite finished yet. We still have the upstairs living area (living and dining room), upstairs hallway, entry-way, downstairs hallway and laundry room to complete. So we are at the Depot last night (Home Depot for those not in the know, you know?) and Jason is like, why don't you go see if you like anything in the oops paint section. I LOVE shopping, so I scampered over there and had a look. Now, I never did look in this section before, we always got our paint specially made up, I had specific ideas, you see. The remaining areas though, I could be more forgiving with my color choices though. So I went and looked, and was there ever some neat stuff. Some of it was like, my word, what were those people thinking? No wonder that ended up in oops. but some of it was very nice, hence I picked up two gallons. A nice melon color for the laundry room, and an off-white for the upstairs hall. They had a lot of flat paint. This really surprises me. I can understand back in the day where it was flat or gloss, but really people, there are other finishes. Personally I like the eggshell finish, it it like flat but has a small sheen to it. And you can clean it. Most people, I think, need this capability. But whatever floats your boat. SO I got the melon in semi-gloss and the off-white in eggshell. So maybe Ill do some painting this weekend. Bye for now

Once a week...

Looks like I am down to once a week now. I was very pleased when I finally got the wireless working, but I get home, play with/nurse Martin, then feed Marting dinner, then prepare dinner, eat dinner, then play more with Martin, get Martin ready for bed, and it is 8:30 by the time he is down. Then I spend quality time with Jason. Honestly, I think this is why I feel so stressed out and explodable. I am not really getting any down-time. Welcome to parenthood, you say. Grrrr, I say. What I am trying to say is that, I can't update my blog at home, which only leaves during the day. When I am meant to be working. Cherry Blossoms: what ever.We wanted to go down and see these, the past weekend, but it pissed with rain for two days, so we did not. Well, maybe that is a bit extreme, I mean, it was probably clear for a few minutes or so at a time. What I did get done, instead, was some quality shopping. Hey hey hey. I haven't been properly shopping in like, forever. I got some clothes and some make-up. I was very happy. This occurred on Saturday. On Sunday, I cooked lunch and dinner, took my mom to the grocery store, and SAT. As in, SAT ON MY BUTT. did nada, nothing. It was nice, and a good thing I was so rested. But really, what I want for Christmas is like, 10 straight hours of uninterrupted sleep. That would be heaven. What does all this have to do with cherry blossoms? Nothing but a pitiful excuse as to why I didn't go see them this weekend. Maybe next weekend. Chocolate: I broke down and bought some chocolate at work last week, a caramel crunch and a, a...can't remember. It must have been that good. Anyway, I need to start bringing chocolate from home. Seriously. I finally had a Chantico. I wasn't really impressed. I could easily make that at home. I go to Starbucks to get drinks I CAN'T easily make at home. Really. *huff* Movies: Watched 40 days and 40 nights. What a stupid movie. Like it is some kind of record to go 40 days with no sex? Welcome to the real world. I have been so exhausted lately, sex doesn't even come into it. I could probably go 40 months, at this point. EXHAUSTED. What I need, is a vacation. Already, just barely April and I already need a vacation, probably won't take one until July. Hopefully I won't go postal before then. Final thoughts: Our office cleaning guy probably thinks I am a mental case. I keep all the bottles on my desk (i.e. water bottles, soft drink bottles). I intend to take them home and recycle them there. Currently there are 2 water bottles, 2 soda bottles, and 2 Arizona tea bottles. It is getting ridiculous. I should pack them up and take them tonight.
